Great Jubilee Wharf is a four storey warehouse, built in in 1850-60. It is right next to Metropolitan Wharf. Great Jubilee Wharf was constructed using London stock bricks.
Great Jubilee Wharf was converted into residential flats by Galliard Homes in 1996. They built penthouse flats on top of the existing listed structure. The flats at Great Jubilee Wharf were sold as 'shells', but standard kitchen and bathroom layouts were available and most of the buyers took them.
Some of the original hoist equipment of Great Jubilee Wharf still remains in place.
Great Jubilee Wharf Management Limited (Co. Regn. No. 3652841) has owned the freehold of Great Jubilee Wharf since 1999. Since the flat leases had all been sold by then, I assume the developer transferred the freehold to the Great Jubilee Wharf residents' own company.
